Its feeling a little like fall today!

Well last Boy stayed at the hospital with Jason. So I went over to Lindsey's and took her the 1st Twighlight book. Then I decided to go with her to J.C.'s football practice. After football practice Lindsey and I went to pick up Kari and Paige and then picked up pizza for supper. Then me and the kids all snuggled up and closed our eyes. While Boy and Jason were still up on after 12. lol The fun they have. I think Jason being "sick" has effected Boy more than he lets on. So when I woke up this morning it was a cool crisp fall morning. Colby said Mama Im NOT going out that door its too cold. lol kids! So tonight Jordyn has dance class and then off to J.C.'s game to watch him carry his team to a MIGHTY VICTORY!!!!! His game is as stressfull as watching the Gamecocks. Until next time! WOW it has been way to long....

It has been so long since I have blogged! I have been VERY slack to say the least. So here is a quick update on our family full of monkeys. Our best friend Jason was diagnosed with Leukemia in June. It has been hard watching him and his family struggle through this. But their faith in the Lord has been AMAZING! Lindsey has been so strong through this, being torn between her husband and her kids. And Jason wow the strength he has. He has taken this challenge head on. And his testimony for the Lord is amazing. So please keep him and his family in your prayers. So with that we have done a couple of blod drives and fundraisers for Jason. Which leads me to church. Things have been so busy at church. God is doing a mighty work at our church. We Just came out of a revival weekend with Soul Harvest and lots of GREAT speakers. Jordyn has started taking dance lessons. She will start week three this week so far so good. But who knows. Boy and COlby are doing great. Its full time football season, and Colby loves the Gamecocks as much as his daddy if not more. lol. Well thats our life in a nut shell. I have made a smilebox of pictures some are out of order but enjoy catching up on whats been going on!

"Dare To Love" - day 1

Last night on the way home I stopped by Christian supply and got the book "Dare to Love". It is the book that is given to Caleb in the movie Fireproof. The book is a 40 day dare, to make you love your spouse. We just started it last night so we are still on day 1's dare. The dare for day 1 is to be patient. You have to show your spouse patients. So for the first day we can not say anything negative about each other. So far we are doing great. Last night sitting down with my husband and talking about this and hearing him pray for us was amazing. I never thought a book could bring us so close, let alone so fast. My prayer is that we will both have the strength to complete each dare. I pray that we will keep our hearts open for God to work in us. I pray that we have our hearts, lives, and marriaged changed. So I ask that you all keep us in your prayers. Its gonna be a long 40 days. lol

How the World Sees Me.......

Rob has started a series on Sunday nights about evangelism. Last night he talked about how people see us. That we should live our lives so that people can see God in us. People should come up to us and say they want what we have. Im afraid people do not see God in me. Im afraid that I dont live my life showing off God. I want people to see me and say wow now that girl has got something. And I want that something to be God's love. So my prayer is, to live my life everyday for God. To let God's love shine so bright through me. Rob has started a new saying "let Christ shine in 2009". Thats what I want. I want Christ to shine in my life, SO bright that everyone can see him in me. I want people to want what I have.
